A Kiss

Luscious lips, they were,

Dragged him to her.

No matter how much he tried,

His ship he couldn’t anchor.

Gazed into those starry eyes,

Filled with complete mischief,

He was ordered to stay put,

By her, like she was his chief.

Noticed by her, in an instant,

His uncontrollable urge.

She too realized the burst of emotions,

In her heart, that did emerge.

Nevertheless, still mad at him she was,

For being late for their date.

Apologize he did many times,

‘Twas wrong to make his Juliet wait.

Lost in each other’s eyes,

With a moonlight night.

She was the waiting princess,

And he, her precious savior knight.

No more could they resist,

The irresistible temptation.

Holding it back,

Just caused more frustration.

One sudden grab, one tight pull,

Bodies clamped and the souls as one.

Kissed under the stars, passionately,

Their evening had just begun.
