Deathly Hallows

It was a very thrilling adventure,

the one I could never forget.

Meeting Death unexpectedly on that

bridge; with my brothers, we magically net.

It granted us, three brothers,

one single promised wish for each.

It wanted to play a game

of its liking and a lesson to teach.

My eldest brother asked for

a wand; the most powerful.

My second brother’s wish

was not either that colorful.

An Elder wand to the first one

was given by Death as promised.

A Ressurection stone to the second one

which later had him demolished.

Power and ego swallowed the first brother,

no sooner, Death took him as he had planned.

Loneliness and sorrow ate away the second’s heart,

Death took him too, as by neck he had hanged.

I had humbly received the Invisibility cloak

from my old friend Death himself.

Lived a life, longer than any of my brothers,

peaceful and blessed, ego checked within myself.

It was time for me to go

on a new adventure, I believed.

In this long-lived beautiful life

I had everything already achieved.

I called upon my old friend

to take me to this new journey.

The Death arrived peacefully

to grant my final wish without any hurry.

I gave my cloak to my son

and with it some very wise words for life.

Later I hugged my friend lovingly

and so did he; then took me to the afterlife.
