Looking deep into her eyes,
He saw an oceanic soul behind them.
Diving into the deep abyss,
Searched for the most valuable gem.
A girl’s heart is an ocean of secrets,
How true the saying was.
An explorer, he turned himself into,
And dug the secrets with his claws.
Her anger and fury swallowed him,
Like a giant wave gulps a surfer.
His courage and guts, he was proud of,
Burnt away like a camphor.
The passion and her naughty lust,
Gnawed away at his skin.
All through the muscles to the bones,
And any marrow left within.
An unlimited amount of love for him,
She sustained within her soul.
Her love which was untainted,
Without which, he was not at all whole.
After traveling miles beneath the surface,
He discovered a chest with a big lock.
There was no solid fancy key for it,
To unlock, he just had to knock and talk.
He wasn’t nervous or scared,
Of what hid underneath locked away.
Slowly knocked on the chest three times,
And whispered to the lock, “Hey.“
As he wished, the lock clicked suddenly,
Dropped down to open the chest.
Revealing the secret within,
He was finally awarded for his quest.
From inside, sprang out a small girl,
All happy and smiling with curly hair.
She was the younger self of his love,
Locked and forgotten like a nightmare.
Patted her head and held her hands,
Said, filled with confidence, “Let’s go, dear.“
Freed at last after years of captivity,
She thanked him and went along with a cheer.
